The prompts are the beginning

Each journal contains carefully considered prompts throughout, designed to give your thinking somewhere specific to begin. Rather than tell you what to think, the prompts provide structure, guidance and direction for your thinking.

How you respond to them is unique to you.

You might need to workshop a big decision, weigh up your choices or just need a sounding board. Engaging with the prompts may help develop your awareness of your own approach to thinking, focus your problem solving or reveal possibilities you may not have previously considered.

Let the prompts exercise your thinking.

A prompt might ask you to...

  • Observe - Look more closely at what is already there.
  • Reflect - Return to an idea and see what changes.
  • Wander - Follow a thought beyond its obvious destination.
  • Question - Examine an assumption or turn and idea over.
  • Collect & Connect - Bring fragments together and see what emerges.
  • Imagine - Consider what else might be possible.

The direction is considered. The thinking is yours.
